I'm encrypting some mails using PGP MIME, but after the PGP Message header (-----BEGIN PGP MESSAGE-----) I got the following version information:

Version: SecureBlackbox 5

Is there a way to customize this?

I'm using .Net version

(And why does it says SecureBlackbox 5?)

Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately this header is hard-coded. We'll change our code in order to allow its modification. The changes will go to the next SBB build.

You can replace the value after the message is assembled (right in the output message data). I think this should not affect the signature (but I can be wrong, so please verify this).

As for why - this has been simply overlooked and as this value doesn't matter much, nobody cared to report us (or maybe nobody needed to change the value).

Sincerely yours
Eugene Mayevski
