This is not possible. For HTTP and SMTP this works because these protocols support so-called NTLM authentication. SSH does not.

So is there any other authentication method that do not need user interaction and does it affect how we set up the server ?

Thanks

There is no alternative method that works as *transparent* as NTLM. Alternatively you can ask a user for login/password once and then store them securely for next connections (e.g. using DPAPI).

Thanks for you reply.

Another thing...

What will be the solution if the user's home directory is in Drive C:, but we want to upload the file to a folder in Drive E: (in the Server)

Is there a command in SecureBlackBox that will allow us to move from one Drive to another?

What is the best solution to handle this scenario.

Thanks again.

If a user has permissions to write to Drive E:, then you won't have any problems. Just pass a full path to a new file as TElSimpleSFTPClient.UploadFile parameter.

Hi,
I would like to request some simple PGP encrypt/decrypt facade methods that aren't mixed up with UI code.

Expose some methods like
Encrypt(inFilename, publickeyfilename, secretkeyfilename, outFilename)
Decrypt(inFilename, publickeyfilename, secretkeyfilename, outFilename)
etc.

I'm in the middle of trying to extract the important bits from one of the samples (PGPFilesDemo_VS2010, Form1) so I can use PGP within a Windows Service. It's not fun and so far it's not working!

Thanks,
Dave

We have samples in Primitives folder which perform exactly one function and are similar to what you are asking about. Your current code might be not working not because of UI but because you've probably missed some event handler. And the non-UI code would still use event handlers.

Do you have VB versions of the EDIBlackBox samples available?

Hello.

EDIBlackbox components are not available in ActiveX edition that should be used with VB.

VB.NET that is. I hate reading C#. I can do it, but I avoid it as much as possible. :-)

C# samples only are available. Since samples are not to be used as a source of copy-paste, but to show how the API can be called, C# should be ok.
