Hi,

Have you had any consideration on whether you'll be supporting FireMonkey in any of your components ?

I'd really like to see that happen.

Thanks
Simon

MacOS X will be supported in SecureBlackbox 10, next year. We have no plans to support it earlier. Right now you can use SecureBlackbox with FreePascal to compile something for MacOS X or iPhone.

There is no evaluation package for OS X available at the moment. However, the licensed source code version still can be compiled and used under Mac OS X. Please consider using other platforms (Linux's architecture is pretty much close to that of Mac OS X) for evaluation. We are really sorry for the inconvenience.

Could you please let me know the current release schedule for SecureBlackbox 10?

Thanks,

Ben

Is there any information that you could provide about the timing for the SecureBlackbox 10 release?

Beta versions of SecureBlackbox 10 will be available in February with release coming in Spring.

Note that SecureBlackbox is successfully used in MacOS X and iOS applications compiled with FreePascal. If you are under pressure, you can compile the dylib using FreePascal and use that lib from your main application.

I can confirm this, we've got apps for MacOSX and iOS working without problems through FreePascal 2.6.0, i even think that FPC code works quite faster than the GUI part we've made with XCode ;)
