I'm looking to implement the Windows Azure Management API on Windows Phone "Mango", but in order to use the API, I have to attach a X509Certificate to the web request as follows: HttpWebRequest.ClientCertificates.Add(mycert);

WP7.x does not support this, however, because .NET 4 implements a TlsStream for the communication, while WP7 basically P/Invokes this down to the OS level.

Is there an equivalent call in your solution that will use the certificate for identification and not encryption?

Thank you for contacting us.

Generally, SecureBlackbox components support certificate-based client authentication in all SSL-capable client components (SSL, HTTP, FTP, SMTP and, implicitly, Cloud components). However, we cannot answer your question for sure *at the moment*, as relevant assemblies targeting Mango platform are only being prepared (so we did not have a chance to test the components with Mango yet). Still, the things look optimistic for now.

SBB 9.1 RC with Mango support will be available within a fortnight.
