Dear Eugene,
I found in the SBB descriptions a statement that it includes OCSP server and client parts. What does it actually mean? What an allication need to use online certificate verification using SBB features?
Thank you,
Oleg.

SecureBlackbox implements cryptography-related part of RFC 2560. I.e. it helps you create a request and parse the reply (on the client side) and parse a request and create a reply (on server side). It's your job to implement transfer of the request from the client to the server. The components imply that you read the RFC and understood the basic ideas of OCSP.

Thank you for the answer.
Is it possible to get some indication (preferebly, code samples) of this functionality invocation/leveraging.
We use SBB to work with x509 certs - I looked through available interfaces and did not found any OCSP related names. We need to implement our own OCSP server thus any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Oleg.

The samples are in the schedule. For documentation type ElOCSP in the Index. For some reason Contents doesn't include OCSP classes.

Thanks a lot.
It seems that OCSP support is something new - our 3.3.0.61 version does not contain any references of this kind, I did find it in your current documentation. Code samples will be HUGE help - if it is possible to get anything now it will be extremely appreciated!
From the other side, can you provide a rough estimation of the OCSP server/client parts implementation efforts using SBB (developers*days) - I guess your developers should have an idea.

BTW OCSP documentation is present in Help Contents under X.509Certificates section.

Another question - about licensing model. Are there any fees for using OCSP implementation or it comes "for free" once the SBB license is paid?

OCSP is part of PKIBlackbox and can be used when you purchase a license for any SecureBlackbox package (since PKIBlackbox is included in all other packages).
