Hi, I'm having trouble installing SBB into VB10 Express. Basically the controls don't show up in the .NET Framework Component list (as indicated by the guide).

Any clues?

Thank you for contacting us.

If the components have not been intergrated automaticaly, then try the following:

1. Use Main Menu -> Tools -> Choose Toolbox items to open Toolbox Customization dialog
2. In the dialog that appears activate .NET Framework Components tab
3. Use a filter to show only those components, which contain "SecureBlackbox" in the assembly name. To do this put "SecureBlackbox" to the filter box.
4. Check all components that appear.
5. If you don't find some component in the list, use Browse button to find and add the assembly, which contains the component, to the list. The assemblies are located in <SecureBlackbox>\Assebmlies\NET_20 folder (different folders for different .NET framework versions).

If by Visual Studio 10 you meant Visual Studio 2010, then the folder would be <SecureBlackbox>\Assebmlies\NET_40 (for .NET Framework 4.0)

Sincerely yours

Alright. If I just need to set up some SSH tunnels with PKI, would you know which components I need to install?

You can install all assemblies that start with 'SecureBlackbox'. For "SSH tunnels with PKI" you may need SecureBlackbox.dll, SecureBlackbox.PKI.dll, SecureBlackbox.PKISSH.dll, SecureBlackbox.SSHCommon.dll, SecureBlackbox.SSHClient.dll and SecureBlackbox.SSHServer.dll assemblies.
