Create a global cookie manager to let HTTP/HTTPS client components deal with it when working with cookies.

Cookie manager has been implemented in SecureBlackbox 9.1.

Eugene, Is the CookieManager still in SBB 10.233? I tried to put the component icon on the form but without success. For what is this CookieManager.
Thanks for answering.

What particular problem are you having when placing it to the form?

For managing cookies automatically. It saves you from managing cookies when you make HTTP/HTTPS requests using TElHTTPSClient.

Hello.

TElCookieManager is a part of HTTPBlackbox package and is included into the latest build. What exact error or problem did you get when tried to use it?

HI thanks for your fast reply. I do not know if my re-install of 10.233 is correct, but I have no specific icon for the CookieManager (it is a standard icon) and I can not place it on the form. I do not get any error info. It sheems to me that the component is not installed. How can I check this? MUst I uninstall SBB completely and re-install it? I think I have some old .bpl in the windows dir. Please tell me what to do, I really need that Manager, as I do not want to trace all the cookies sent and let it re-sent to the server.
My Project was done with the IE Webbrowser, where I did not think about cookies as it sheems that IE manange it themselfs.

The icon can only be present in toolbox if the component is there.

What you can do to check if the component was placed is look into the code of the form - if the variable of type TElCookieManager is there, then the component has been placed but is not visible for some reason.

There's no need to reinstall SecureBlackbox as this won't help. If there's a glitch with the component placement to to the form, we will fix it for the next build and right now you need to create the component in code. Anyway it doesn't have public properties to setup in design-time.

Yes, IE manages cookies, but this doesn't give you any control over them ...
