So far we have found, that the problem is device-specific, i.e. on some devices the error is returned, and on most devices the code works ok.

The tests have shown, that in our case (with one of our devices) the problem happens only when the certificate is used for decryption via CryptoAPI. Use of this certificate for signing via CryptoAPI or for decryption via PKCS11 works fine.
I think, you need to complain to the device manufacturer.

I have still the same problem. First I need XML encryption and decryption but even with your sample Sign/Verify works OK but encrypt/decrypt fails. See attached file.

What exactly fails? Encryption or decryption?

What certificate storage are you using - windows or PKCS11?

Please, also check the PKCS11 sample (Samples\PKI\PKCS11), and try "Process files" function to encrypt/decrypt test file.

Encryption works OK
Decryption fails with error shown in attached picture.

PKCS11. You can see this from the attached picture too.

I already checked before I start writing here in the forum. It is all the same. I can't decrypt with certificates on the crypto card.
Sign, verify and encrypt works fine.

This indeed looks like a hardware problem. Can you please tell us the name of the hardware and the version of the accompanying software (drivers)? We will try to contact the vendor.
