Hi,

We have been running your SFTP server component (.NET) for a while to provide a dynamic file system and recently encountered an issue.

When the user selects multiple, large files to download to their desktop (using FileZilla), the first download works as expected. FileZilla has a default setting to allow two simultaneous downloads and so tries to download another file. This always results in a connection timeout and ultimately a failed file transfer. Only after the first download completes can the queue be restarted to pick up the failed transfers.

Is there a setting that I have not applied properly? I used the SFTP Server demo to start building our application and then extended it as needed to integrate with our service. The FileZilla logs are below:

Thanks!

We have a fair number of users that use SSH/SFTP server components and they never reported any concurrency issues, so the issue is not a known one.

Absolutely anything is possible - the server sample just illustrates how to use the components but it never was intended to be used in production. It was never tested in complex scenarios like yours.

Sincerely yours
Eugene Mayevski
