I´m using ElSimpleFTPSClient (SecureBlackBoc 8.0 trial) with VC6 and I got the error: DAX Error
Acces violation at adress 7C809823 in module "kernel32.dll". Write of adress 00000004
when I try to create the instance:
hr = CoCreateInstance(CLSID_ElSimpleFTPSClientX, NULL, CLSCTX_INPROC_SERVER, IID_IElSimpleFTPSClientX8, (void**)&my_Client);
The same instruction works fine when I create the instance for the license key before it.
Please, I need your help...

Thank you for contacting us.

Please re-check that the SSL client DLL was registered correctly in the system. Simply run the following command explicitly:

regsvr32 SSLBBoxCli8.dll

Thank you for your answer.
I did what you suggested but I got the same error.
Do you think if I upgrade VC6 to VC 2008 I could solve it?

Let's continue the discussion in the Helpdesk. I have created a ticket for you.

Upgrading is unlikely to help. We have users, using ActiveX edition with Visual C (including VC 6.0) so the problem is not common and not trivial.

Please try to re-register all DLLs in the following order:

1. BaseBBox8.dll
2. SSLBBoxCli8.dll

Wrong order of DLL registration will lead to problems.

Sincerely yours
Eugene Mayevski

I re-registered all DLLs in this order and I got the same error.
Thanks for your answer.
