Sorry about the delay.

Your private key is encrypted, and unsupported PEM encryption mechanism is used. I.e. you need to save the key in unencrypted form to load it. Then it must load, I believe. I've added the task to our ToDo list to support that format, but the timeframe for implementation is unknown.

As for putty keys, it can be anything starting from incorrect setup of the keys on the server.

Sincerely yours

I was able to get the "Authentication Succeeded", but the applications hangs at the Client.Open line. After a lot of time passes, it returns:

SSH Connection Failed Due To Err (Error Code is 11)

Still looking for a solution. Currently I am playing around with the compression algorithms and the encryption algorithms. I did notice that when certain connection algorithms are disabled, I get a "Connection Lost" error rather quickly.

Could you please specify the exact component (or sample) you are using?

It would be a good idea to try to connect with the SimpleSFTPDemo sample first of all.

I am using the SimpleSSHDemo application that came with the Active X Component in the SBB6 folder. Should I be using the SimpleSFTPDemo? Does that also handle SSH?

It depends on the exact connection type you need to set up. Do you need to establish command shell or SFTP connection?
