In the WinSCP FAQ they discuss using sudo to switch to the root user after logging in for an SFTP connection. Is there any way to set up something similar using TElSimpleSFTPClient?

Thank you for contacting us.

Sorry to disappoint you, but no, TElSimpleSFTPClient does not support accessing SFTP server under the root account with the use of sudo command. As a matter of fact, this method is not "legal" enough and is only possible with Unix OpenSSH implementation.
