I'm evaluating the PDFBlackbox package and I'm having trouble about using the PKI-based en/de-cryption.
I'm using for testing purpose the 2 samples projects TinyEncryptor and TinyProcessor in VS2008.
I've created a self-signed certificate using IIS7 on windows Vista and exported in pfx format.
Then I've used TinyEncryptor project to encrypt a pdf working fine with PDF Password protection, I've chosen the default RC4/40 Bits algorithm, the .pfx certificate and submitted a password to succesfully encrypt the document.
Finally I've used TinyProcessor project to decrypt the encrypted document using the same certificate file and submitting the right password. The program indicates a succesful operation but the pdf document is totally blank.
I'm not sure I'm doing right.
I'm trying to find a solution to encrypt pdf internally an organization with a good level of security against password recovery if the encrypted file is maliciously copied.
Thanks in advance for attention

Thank you for contacting us.

Can you please check if the same problem occurs with the sample certificate included to the distribution (cert.pfx)? First of all, it is necessary to find out if the issue is specific to the certificate, document or other environmental aspects.

Can you please post one of the PDF documents here or to the Helpdesk for investigation?

Thank you very much for the files, they helped us to localize and fix an issue in certificate-based encryption code. We are preparing new SBB build (7.2.171) at the moment, the fix will go there. The build is planned for tomorrow.
