ElServerSSLSocket incorporates .NET Socket class. The problem with .NET Socket class is that it's not inheritable, and ElServerSSLSocket is a wrapper, not an descendant. I don't like this architecture, though we offer it for those users, who need to replace Socket with SSL Socket easily and fast.

For your tasks I would recommend using ElSecureServer + Socket class. This gives you more control and more flexibility.

The same applies to client-side components.
