one of our customers needs to connect through a proxy and needs an urgent change.

We are using the SBSimpleSftp.TElSimpleSFTPClient to connect, but I cannot find how to use a proxy (there is info in the ElSimpleFTPSClient).

The instruction is:

connect to
> Proxy: proxy1.intra.xxxxxxxx.xx
> Poort: 1080

How should we change this in our existing code:

this.SftpClient = new SBSimpleSftp.TElSimpleSFTPClient();
SftpClient.CompressionLevel = 6;

SftpClient.AuthenticationTypes = SftpClient.AuthenticationTypes & (~SBSSHConstants.Unit.SSH_AUTH_TYPE_PUBLICKEY);

SftpClient.Username = User;
SftpClient.Password = Password;
SftpClient.Address = Server;
SftpClient.Port = 22;

Any help welcome.

Now about your question.

What you have is a SOCKS proxy. So you need to set UseSOCKS property to true, then adjust Socks* properties.

Sincerely yours
