Hi im trying to log in to my FTPS server

##
pure-ftpd v1.0.20

And instaled

##
TSL 1.4.1

When i trie to connect i get "Error occured while forcing SSL"

Before that i have
Connecting to 10.0.0.25:21
Connected
Certificate received
Issuer: ..... certificate info ...
Subject: ..... certificate info ...
Certificate is OK

and than that error...

I can normaly log in throught eg. FileZila if i specify servertype as FTP over TLS (explicit encryption)... so what to change ?

Thanks.

1) what edition are you using?
2) Did you try the sample project shipped with SecureBlackbox or your own code?

First of all, please try to turn off TLS1.1 and try to connect again. TLS1.1 is a relatively new protocol, so most of servers do not support it.

Besides, client authentication may be required by server. You will need to provide your certificate to server in this case.

FTPS is available in VCL and .NET Editions of SecureBlackbox.

Please answer the question:

Did you use the sample project or your own code to connect?

Hmm i tries connect woth this setting : i checked Use SSL/TLS and TLS1, than i get this:

<<<220---------- Welcome to Pure-FTPd [privsep] [TLS] ----------
220-You are user number 1 of 30 allowed.
220-Local time is now 15:53. Server port: 21.
220 You will be disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity.

>>>AUTH TLS
<<<234 AUTH TLS OK.

>>>USER vladoportos
<<<331 User vladoportos OK. Password required

>>>PASS test
<<<230-User vladoportos has group access to: uucp wheel
230 OK. Current restricted directory is /

>>>PBSZ 0
<<<200 PBSZ=0

>>>PROT P
<<<534 Fallback to [C]

And than it disconnect with error "Error occured while forcing SSL"

Im not sure where is problem in server or in that SimpleFTPSDemo ... i realy need that to work.. There shouldnt be problem with server cause its working fine with FileZila client ( i dont use certificates, just passes )

I think there is something with SSL, but what actualy ?

Thanks for any help..

no, it's not SSL. From your log it's clear that the server doesn't understand PROT P for some reason. This is subject to investigation.

Please set EncryptDataChannel property to false - this should help.
