Hi,

We're currently trying to get an ECCN (export control classification number) so we can tell US government contractors what kind of export restrictions are on our product due to our usage of SecureBlackBox. Have you (Eldos) looked into this at any point, or do you know of any of your customers who've done so and might be willing to lend some guidance?

Thanks,
Craig Peterson

As we are not a US company, we unfortunately don't have any information on such numbers or the procedure of obtaining one.

Sincerely yours
Eugene Mayevski

Hi Eugene,

Thanks, I figured that was the case. We have it mostly figured out, but there's one question I don't know enough to answer: "State the key management algorithms, including modulus sizes, that are supported." We're only using SecureBlackBox for SFTP and FTPS. Can you help?

Thanks,
Craig

SecureBlackbox supports the following key management algorithms for the mentioned packages:

1. SFTP:

* Diffie-Hellman (512-8192 bits),
* RSA (1024/2048 bits).

2. FTPS:

* Diffie-Hellman (512-8192 bits),
* RSA (512-8192 bits),
* SRP (1024-8192 bits),
* Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman (112-571 bits).
