You can access most smartcards via PKCS#11 interface. PKCS#11 covers symmetric key and certificate management and operations. See TElPKCS11* classes for details.

There's no support for PC/SC or PKCS#15 interfaces and in general there's no plan to support them in SecureBlackbox 7.x.

In SBB 7.0 PKCS#11 classes were moved to PKIBlackbox package, http://www.eldos.com/sbb/desc-pki.php.

Thank you for your answer.May a ask one question more?
I am from Estonia and we have ID cards (www.id.ee) for authorization. Also ID card is used for issuing digital signatures. If we want to use your components from PKIBlackbox package for working with smart cards (Estonian ID card is actually the card with a chip) would it be possible to add digital signatures to electronical documents?
If your components from PKIBlackbox package can work with our ID card and we are able to sign documents with them, which is the price of this package for delphi 7?
Best regards.

Yes, if the card does support PKCS#11-compliant access (most of existing cards actually do).

BTW, what exactly electronic documents do you plan to sign? Different document formats introduce different security standards. SecureBlackbox supports signing according to PKCS#1 and PKCS#7 standards, which are utilized by PDF and XML document security.

Please use the calculator to calculate the price of the license you are interested in. Choose VCL edition if you are interested in using SecureBlackbox with Delphi.

Hello again.
This post is actual now again. Our company needs components for using smart cards(Estonian ID cards). Our cards use these standards:
ISO 7816-1: Identification cards - Integrated circuit(s) cards with contacts. Part 1: Physical Characteristics
ISO 7816-2: Identification cards - Integrated circuit(s) cards with contacts. Part 1: Physical Characteristics
ISO 7816-3: Identification cards – Integrated circuit(s) cards with contacts. Part 3: Electronic signals and transmission protocols.
ISO 7816-4: Identification cards – Integrated circuit(s) cards with contacts. Part 4: Interindustry commands for interchange
ISO 7816-5: Identification cards – Integrated circuit(s) cards with contacts. Part 5: Numbering system and registration procedure for application identifiers
ISO 9594-8: Information Technology – Open Systems Interconnection – The Directory: Authentication Framework
PKCS#1 v1.5, RSA Cryptography Standard, November 1, 1993
PKCS#1 v2.0, RSA Cryptography Standard, October 1, 1998
PKCS#5 v2.0, Password-Based Cryptography Standard, March 25, 1999
RFC 2459 Internet X.509 Public Key Infrastructure Certificate and CRL Profile
Micardo 2.1 Chip Card Operating System User Manual

Could you explain me if Eldos have components which can communicate with these smart cards (We need to read object data from it)? If you have could you please give some tutorial or demo to make the solution of our problem easier?

Best wishes,
Alexandr

Nothing has changed since previous messages in this topic. PKCS#11 is the only supported interface (also you can access smartcards via CryptoAPI but in your case this is not applicable).

Thanks for the information. It seems that Eldos cannot be used in our case.
