Hello,
Using prerelease 7.0.0.153 (.Net)
after signing programatically in an existing signaturebox with an mdp signature in a document in which usage rights for reader have been set, The usage rights are reset.

We need the usage rights to be able to manually sign the document after the certification.

with thanks in advance

It might be linked with another issue I discussed with you previously:

see also ticket id 14645

Thanks

Did you allowed filling of form fields using ElPDFSignature.AllowedChanges property when created mdp signature?
For example:
Sig.AllowedChanges = SBPDF.Unit.sacFillInForms;

Yes I did. Actually I am able to sign in the other signature box using your libraries or Acrobat 9... but it becomes impossible to update it with Acrobat reader.

If I do it manually (certifying the document after enabling AcroReader usage rights), the certified document retains the usage rights... The problem occurs when signing with sbbpdf.

Would you mind if I send you some samples?

There is no need. Thank you.
I was able to reproduce this issue with your older samples.
But, it could take some time to clarify what's wrong.

Unfortunately, there is no trivial and fast fix, so this issue was postponed.
We'll try to fix this for the next build.

I understand ...

I have just found out that these settings were not standard and as such were not documented.

Special thanks for all your effort.

JFYI: new build (note, it's 7.1 beta) is available for download from
http://eldos.com/sbb/download-prerelease.php
It should fix this issue.

Hello,

Is it possible to change the user rights in Acrobat Reader (permissions) without encrypting the document?
