Hi,
I am trying to use the SFTPBlackbox client VCL on Delphi 7.
The SFTP server is VANDYKE 3.5.2(build 453)

After the connection established, I can do whatever I want (rename, delete, create a new directory) but cannot upload or download a file bigger than 1KB approx. I don't know why but I can upload/download any file smaller than 1KB. If I try to download/upload a file bigger than 1KB I got an error code (10053/10058) and the connection lost.

I tried the SFTPBlackbox with a freeware SFTP server before and decided to buy to use it to connect the Vandyke SFTP Server.

Does anybody have a solution for that? Should I try to use Delphi 2007?
Thanks

Try setting AutoAdjustTransferBlock to false and PipelineLength to 1. This should disable pipelining which seems to be the cause of the problem. If this doesn't happen, check the knowledgebase article.

Dear Eugene,
I saw your suggestion(about piplinelength) on another topic and tried before. Didn't work. Do you think Delphi 2007 could help. This is the only hope I have.

Delphi version has no relation to this. Please follow the steps mentioned in the knowledgebase article.

You are right. I used Delphi 2007 and the same problem.
The error information was not clear.

Suddenly...!
I unchecked the UMAC-64 option in the Cipher/MAC Options on the Vandyke settings. Then it worked..! All other options are checked.
This is meaningless for me but you may understand what's wrong with UMAC64.
Thanks for the quick replies.

Very interesting. It seems that SecureBlackbox gets somehow confused with UMAC64 being sent by the server. We'll investigate the issue deeper.
