Can anyone provide a good example of how to use the SBSimpleFTPS.TElSimpleFTPSClient.ParseFileListEntry( SBSimpleFTPS.TElSimpleFTPSClient.@MetaTElSimpleFTPSClient Self, string Entry, SBSimpleFTPS.TSBFTPFileInfo FileInfo )

Thanks :)

First parameter is a bug of Delphi compiler. I've removed it and next build (due to be released tomorrow) will fix it.

AS for your question, you pass the line of the directory listing as Entry parameter, and you create a structure (record) of type TSBFTPFileInfo, and pass it by reference in a second parameter. Note, that the function currently only parses unix output. If you have other format, you can find it easier to parse the output yourself.

We don't have plans to create myriads of parsers for various formats, like most FTP component vendors do.

Sincerely yours
