Hello, Eugene.

For some reasons HTTPGet example only works with http.
When using https it hangs up with no promices. After a minute it alerts: Connection lost.

Trace follows:

SBHTTPSClient.pas > if (not Active) then Open;
SBSimpleSSL.pas > if not DoMessageLoop(false) then
...
SBSocket.pas > result := select(FSocket + 1, @FDSet, nil, nil, PTV) > 0;
FSocket = 1896
FDSet = (1, (1896, 1906530688, -1, 1906530684, 1906918136, 1896, 1242092, 1, 1242116, 0, 1906912050, 1549008, 1549008, 1906918145, 0, 10576868, 1242216, 240, 10576868, 1523440, 0, 1242160, 4869256, 240, 10576868, 240, 0, 1242172, 4869301, 4869309, 240, 240, 0, 240, 1242224, 4875394, 4875439, 1242184, 4875458, 240, 0, 4875584, 4875592, 1242928, 10511084, 10511084, 0, 0, 240, 10510364, 1242252, 4859169, 240, 4792228, 240, 10576868, 1242928, 10511084, 4833885, 238, 10576870, 10511084, 1242312, 4801816))
PTV = nil

select doesn't return control.
Firewall disabled, server responds to browser, http works.

OS: WinXP + SP2.

Any suggestions?

Obviously, the server doesn't respond to HTTPS request for any reason. Try disabling TLS 1.1.

It's already disabled and doesn't work.
Two other developer machines produce the same result.
Tried to use with every of SSL2, SSL3 and TLS1 flags alone - no result.

Please find the project attached.

Strange thing -- your project "as is" doesn't work, but after I changed something on the form (changed address to www.microsoft.com and port to 443), everything went fine.
