I have successfully created an application using ElClientSSLSocket and ElServerSSLSocket which can send and receive messages.

The CurrentVersion property indicates that my client is connected using TLS 1.2 (16).

I am unable to figure out how to set the CompressionAlgorithm property. After executing the following line while configuring my client and server sockets (before connection), the property value is still zero.

sslClient.CompressionAlgorithm = SBSSLConstants.__Global.SSL_CA_ZLIB;

Where / how can I configure zlib compression on my socket?

Thanks for your time.

You are using the wrong property.

You must call

set_CompressionAlgorithms(SBSSLConstants.Unit.SSL_CA_ZLIB, true)

I called set_CompressionAlgorithms on the client, listening, and accepted sockets, but CompressionAlgorithm is still zero after connecting. What else do I need to do?
