Hi,

I've ported the demo SophisticatedSSHClient over to a Windows Mobile 5 environment. I'm running the demo on the device emulator, however when I try to connect I find that it will connect quite fast but takes a while to receive any data (5-10 secs). When running the same demo on the PC it's quite instant. All the code pertaining to creating the SSH connect and receiving data are identical to that of the C# demo.
On the Windows Mobile demo I also see a lot of "The thread 0x165e1a46 has exited with code 0 (0x0)." messages repeatedly.
Can anyone give me some hints as to what the issue may be?

Thanks.

1) The emulator is usually slower than the real device
2) are you running an evaluation version or you have a license?

I do have a license.

Speed doesn't seem to be an issue once I do receive the data.
Here are my observations:
1. I press Connect
2. 10 seconds later I receive a prompt for password (PromptForm)
3. After entering something and pressing OK I'm returned to the screen
4. 1 second later I receive the data for the terminal
5. When I issue commands the data comes in almost instantly now

What I'm concerned about is the time between steps 1 and 2. Running the same demo on the PC version does not show any delay.

I will try on an actual device later today to see if there is a difference.

I also want to note that running the demo on the device emulator dumps a lot of thread exit messages in the output screen (as much as 20 at a time):

The thread 0x56c10626 has exited with code 0 (0x0).
The thread 0xd673c04a has exited with code 0 (0x0).
The thread 0x36b36e12 has exited with code 0 (0x0).
etc...

Whereas running the PC demo, I only see one or two here and there. Is this expected?

Thanks.
