I've tried to use the rawdisk copy function on a windows mail locked file (tmp.edb) that was stored on a virtual encrypted drive (created by the truecrypt software).
This file is created only when windows mail is running.
The truecrypt drive is created after windows starts (standalone mode).

When rawdisk driver tries to access this file there seems to be a conflict with the truecrypt sys driver and a BSOD occurs and windows reboots (this is a windows vista OS).

Can you add some testing in rawdisk driver to avoid this BSOD ? (I mean is there a way to return an high level error code and just deny access to the file)

When BSOD happens, please capture the minidump as described in the corresponding help file topic and post it to the helpdesk.
