Dear Eldos,

I'm trying to figure out VSS snapshots. Your website says:

"Create virtual snapshots: You will have an ability to create virtual snapshots of any data and determine how to handle them in the future. Your snapshot may be saved, kept and rolled back to for future reference or disposed of entirely"

How do I do that? I can't seem to find it in the documentation. Or is VSS just automatically supported?

Thanks,
Dan

Just copy the backend image in its current state :).

I'm specifically asking about VSS. Windows backup (wbadmin) uses VSS on the volume itself in order to create backups and snapshots. Do you support VSS snapshots?

It should work. But maybe VSS snapshot works only for fixed disks. I.e.
CBDisk.StorageType = stDisk
CBDisk.StorageCharacteristics = 0

Please try such configuration.

Also the mounting point must be created with the CBDISK_SYMLINK_MOUNT_MANAGER flag. I.e.:
CBDisk.AddMountingPoint("X:", CBDISK_SYMLINK_MOUNT_MANAGER, null)
