CallbackDisk currently represents one logical disk / partition and doesn't handle images of disks with multiple partitions and partition table. Make CallbackDisk understand and handle partition tables and represent multiple partitions.

I am just coming across this product line and am awaiting a license key, but I am interested in the fact that it cannot already do this, so I will definitely agree that it should be a part of the functionality.

It was a good idea to post your comment to the forum, as you have not specified your e-mail in the key request form :). I have taken it from your profile already. Note that GMail sometimes marks our e-mails as Spam.

This is definitely a needed feature. It's not truly a virtual disk till Windows can create/edit partitions.

1. The purpose of CallbackDisk is to *represent* the data as a disk. There's no goal to make a virtual disk that one can create partitions upon.

2. The idea is to be able to map disk images with multiple partitions on them. It's about reading, not about writing.

So to mount a raw HDD image, for example, we'd have to handle the partition table and create an instance of CBDisk for each?

Yes, exactly. Right now it works this way. The purpose of the idea is to have CallbackDisk parse the partition table, but this is just an idea for now.
