I am using ClbFlt for monitoring an asset directory. I need to keep the directory synched with a database and tree in memory so that I can assign additional meta data to each asset.

To keep things easy I wanted the user to be able to change categories and names by changing the file system. So I need to monitor any movements, renames and so on.

So far most works fine, but when I move a file from the scope (the asset directory) to some directory outside the scope, the ClbFlt doesn't notice them and doesn't invoke any notification callbacks (this case is equal to deleting an asset).

Is there any reliable way to get notified about these, without monitoring the whole PCs file system?

Thanks!

I am sorry but you are using a free license for Lite package which comes without support. You are welcome to purchase a commercial license to get support.

Sincerely yours
