As the title suggests i am getting an ECBFltError("File not found") exception when AttachFilter is called.

This happed after i updated to the just released version(although i think i had seen this before, but it sort of went away?! ).

I have added the CBFlt3.dll file in the project references.
I also explicilty check that the file path i provide in InstallDriver exists.
Additionally the (soon to be) monitored path exists.

Could you provide any hints to what maybe going wrong.

Thank you

ps:I am on windows server 2013 R2 using C#, the system was freshly rebooted.

It could be supposed that driver not installed properly, or service stopped. Did you check the state with GetDriverStatus() call ? Did you reboot after installation ?
Thanks.

I did reboot after upgrading CallbackFilter, yes.

As per your advice i added and printed the GetDriverStatus values:
DriverInstalled is True
And Status is 4 which means the service is running.

Yes 3.1.83.69 to be precise.
Skipped it initially due to all that binary operations required...

I will check it in a short. Could you confirm that problem with a samples provided with an installation package ?

Just tested FileMon C# sample, it works without problem. Check please your project configuration, do you correctly reference dll module ? Do you have all required redistributable modules installed ?

I rebooted again and although the version remained the same as before (3.1.83.69) it no longer throws the exception.

Thank you for the feedback.
