Hello,

Callback Filter able to give synchronous events when any file is accessed. But here problem is that Callback Filter gives many events of open/close/read/write file when single file is opened. So is there any option to get only single event of each when file open,close or modify.

Here is the code that I have used for Filter callback.

mFilter.AddFilterCallbackRule("C:\Crypt\*.*",
CbFltCallbackFlags.PostReadCallback |
CbFltCallbackFlags.PostWriteCallback |
CbFltCallbackFlags.CloseCallback |
CbFltCallbackFlags.OpenCallback
);

Thanks in advance.

Synchronous events can be used to modify data and it's important to get events for each read or write operation. As I understand, you don't like too many read/write events. But how do you imagine another way of synchronous notifications and what the use of that way would be? If the file is opened, then a block is written, and another block is written in 15 minutes (with file being open all the time) what the use of one notification would be?

Sincerely yours,
