I have done some tests and seems that in your case remote user is not impersonated on a local machine. This is a responsibility of network file system service to provide information about remote user account or not. In your case system component that process remote user request, done some internal security checks and then performs a request on behalf of a local user. I have modified FileMon C# sample to produce a verbose information from Originator Token and compare it with Account Token information. You may see some changes in information that may help to distinguish between local and remote accesses. Attached file is zipped archive.
