We are testing on WinXP SP2, Core2, filesize: 50MB.

Is it 32 bit OS version?

We'll also attempt to reproduce the problem. And please try the latest version of CallbackFS (it's beta).

I have just tried the beta of CallbackFS and it still produces the same behavior.

I've made the special build of the CallbackFS driver (it's attached to this message). Please try the problem with it.

But unsure that it will be really installed! For do it, after reinstall check that the new driver lies in the %SYSTEM_ROOT%\system32\drivers directory.

I have tried the attached driver and it displays the same behavior although it does not seem to timeout even with a timeout value set.

Unfortunately we could not reproduce the problem. We have tried it by using the sample application from the latest beta build. It's located at "Callback File System\Samples\dotNET\C#\Mapper".
Try to reproduce the problem by using this application. Please use the app. only from the latest build.

The operation also hangs when using a standard FileStream so I don't think it is related to SolFS.

Where is the FileStream's target placed? I mean - does it a file which is placed on the local or remote computer? Or it's a record in a data base?
