I have consistently been observing files showing up in explorer with the wrong thumbnail, and in some cases when opening the image with the default windows image viewer, there also the wrong image would be displayed. I initially thought perhaps there is an issue with the CBFS file caching mechanism, but then would see the same problem with it turned off. Also, for those images where the thumbnail was incorrect, opening with another viewer or application such as Paint would display the correct image.

Could you shed any light on this problem?

There were no reports of this kind before, so it's not a known problem.

It is hard to say what's going on in the third-party software (and Explorer is not even Windows itself, but a standalone application), however if the issue happens only with your code, this can be an indication of mistakes in callback handling. If the issue happens with Mapper sample as well, then we'd need a stable way to reproduce the issue.

Sincerely yours
Eugene Mayevski
