Explorer hangs with showing '?' mark on the CBFS disk

Hello everyone.

We are using CBFS 3 to show the contents of remote server.
There is a case where when the user logs in to the Windows (Server 2008) after the disk was mounted over the night, the Explorer hangs and shows '?' mark on the disk.
Only restart helps to get back the normal working state of the PC.

We updated CBFS (.NET 4.0) version from to with the hope that it will resolve the issue, but nothing has changed.
Our internal logs also do not show any issues with our libraries or code.
Also, Windows EventViewer does not contain any error messages from CBFS.

Can you, please, let us know how to make sure that CBFS is still running or not before we reboot the PC, or get some logs in order to investigate what is going wrong?

Perhaps something is wrong in your implementation of the CBFS callbacks. Try to use Process Monitor from Microsoft to check what a file system operation hangs. Usually it is easy to correlate it with a CBFS callback. Or attach a debugger to your program, which implements the CBFS callbacks, and look what code is executing at the time of the problem.
In the case the problem is because of a bug in the CBFS code the only way to resolve it is to upgrade to the CBFS v6 and fix it there (if it still exists).
