Hi all,

I had the following error when unmountMedia(false) is called in a separate thread:

eldos.cbfs.ECBFSError: Access is denied.

at eldos.cbfs.CallbackFileSystem.UnmountMedia(Native Method)
at eldos.cbfs.CallbackFileSystem.unmountMedia(CallbackFileSystem.java:619)

My jvm crashed when I do unmountMedia(true).

Has anyone encountered this before? Any advice is appreciated.

The error code sounds strange, though not impossible.

Is the problem reproducible with one of the samples (possibly with modifications)? If the issue is constantly reproducible, please describe how we can do this. If you use the modified sample, please send it to us (it can be posted to the confidential HelpDesk as the forum doesn't allow ZIP attachments) and we will be able to see what happens.

Sincerely yours

Our current code's unmount() was working fine before we upgraded to Eldos 5.1's dll and jar.

The Eldo's VDisk example produced the same error.

There are changes made from time to time, which aim to improve behavior of the disk with various software. Unfortunately sometimes these changes cause hard-to-track side effects like the one you have encountered.

Sincerely yours
