Hello,

I am trying the EldoS CBFS for the first time. So, I trying to create a mapper sample like C# but using Java, but at first when I was studying the VDisk Sample, I saw that all data that I copy to the virtual disk, is didn't persist at the virtual storage. How can I persist the data at the virtual disk, like C# Samples ?

Thanks for your help.

The problem with Java and Mapper sample is that to work via streams we need to have streams which can be opened in read-write mode, which seems to be not possible in Java.

You can modify the VDisk sample by saving files from memory to the disk once the files are closed. This will not duplicate Mapper sample, though.

Thanks Eugene.

I am trying to use in some way the FileOutputStream to flush the file passing the path at Virtual Driver as argument, but it is not working well. Could you help me with some code, that can do what you said ?

Best Regards,

This doesn't make much sense to me. My idea was to copy contents of virtual files to some persistent location in OnCloseFile event handler.

I have found FileChannel class which would let us implement Mapper samples. We'll create one for the next build of CBFS.
