Hello who may concern,

Recently I found that the number of page fault was kept increasing.
My window version is Win 2008 server R2.
I built 2TB virtual storage.

please advise,

-Leo

Could you provide more details about the problem? I.e. what actions you perform and what points to increase of page faults.
Thanks.

As you can see in the attached image.
The virtual size(1,937,264) of the catenoidFS.exe process peaked up to 5G to 6G occasionally.
is it possibly caused by CBFS? if so how we can manage or control it?

Try to use some memory allocation tracking tool to find out what code allocates so much memory. It's unlikely that CBFS does it. At least you are the first who reports such problem.
Also check the CallbackFileSystem.CacheSize property. Perhaps your code sets it to some high value.

What is for CacheSize property and how we can manage it?
Basically, we didn't change or set anything on that.

Big virtual storage(2TB) can be caused this problem?

We use window IIS(64bit) and the memory usage is around 1.9G in normal case.
moreover we don't do anything on memory except using CBFS.

Please Advise,

Please specify what version of CBFS and type of its API (C++, .NET. Delphi, or Java) you are using.
Thanks.

We are using C++ and CBFS 4.0

Thanks

There is no the CallbackFileSystem.CacheSize property in that version at all, that by default is set to 300Mb and that 300Mb can be allocated in the process address space. In the case of version 4 no "extra" memory (something like 100Mb or more) are allocated. So most probably something is wrong in your code. Try to use some memory allocation tracking tool to find out what code allocates so much memory.
