Is there a way to open an existing storage to write more stuff to it (like in solid file system)?

CBFS doesn't offer a storage - your application does. Consequently in *your* application you can do whatever you want. This includes creating a virtual filesystem and exposing your existing data via this filesystem.

Do you have an example?
I've started to developing my own storage based on the VDisk sample.
It starts with initialize, then mCbFs.CreateStorage(), then mountMedia, then AddmountingPoint, and then creating files and directories
