Hi

I developed virtual store using call back file system,
and I tried to create vc2010 project on virtual area.
Files were created successfully, except sdf file.

When I open project, I got a message as belows:

"An error occurred while creating or opening the C++ browsing database file u:\net_test\net_test.sdf. IntelliSense and browsing information will not be available for C++ projects.

Ensure that Microsoft SQL Server Compact 4.0 is installed and that no other applications are accessing the file. If this problem persists, delete the file and reopen the solution."

I've heard that error occur if sdf file is located on network drive. But I do not mounted virtual drive as a network one.

What is wrong?

Thanks,

It is possible that the file must reside on *physical* drive, rather than just non-network. In this case try to create the storage as stDiskPnP (and install the driver in PnP mode) and see if it helps.

I tried as you mentioned, but still failed.
Please, Let me know what should I do.

Installed Driver Version is 3.2.122.303, and I rebooted my computer after re-installed driver.

Below is my code fragments :

// set third parameter as true
CallbackFileSystem::Install( (LPTSTR)(LPCTSTR)strDriverPath,
CBFS_GUID, true,
CBFS_MODULE_DRIVER |
CBFS_MODULE_NET_REDIRECTOR_DLL |
CBFS_MODULE_MOUNT_NOTIFIER_DLL,
&reboot );
......
// I tried stDisk and stDiskPnP
m_CbFs.SetStorageType(CallbackFileSystem::CbFsStorageType::stDiskPnP);
m_CbFs.CreateStorage();
m_CbFs.MountMedia(0);
m_CbFs.SetFileSystemName(_T("NTFS"));
m_strMountingPoint = _T("U:");
m_CbFs.AddMountingPoint((LPTSTR)(LPCTSTR)m_strMountingPoint);

Thanks,
