The PnP storage is shown as having two partitions with size each equal to the virtual disk size in the Windows disk management interface.

See the attached screenshot for more clarity.

Please specify the version of CallbackFS you are using.

Here is another cosmetic anomaly.
The mounted virtual volume is identified as "Portal Device".
See the attached screenshot.

I couldn't reproduce the problem. Is it reproducible with the Mapper sample? If so then please specify in details how to do it.
Thank you.

I think that there's something on the computer that interferes with CBFS' PnP driver and causes those strange glitches. Try doing the same on some other system (the best would be to reproduce the issue on the virtual machine) - if the issue is reproducible on the VM, we can grab the VM for analysis.

Sincerely yours

Hi guys,

First let's split up the issues (let me know if I need to make separate threads).

Issues 1 (dual volume on Win7 64 bit):
I will try to reproduce the issue on another Win7 64 bit VM.
Note that the VM in question is close to virgin outside of my own software and CbFS which are installed on it.

Issues 2 (Portable Device):
This issue is well reproducible. In fact, me and my clients have been experiencing it since CbFS 3 and on both Windows x86 and x64.
The software using CbFS 3 and the one using CbFS 4 are completely different software and completely different implementation too.

Let me do a few additional tests and see what I can provide you for analysis.
