Hi everyone,
there is a way to prevent that user open a specific folder?

If I check it in OnEnumerateDirectory event and fire ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED exception, the folder is opened anyway.

Is there another way to do this?

Thank in advance,
Davide

Throw ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED from the OnOpen callback.
Check the user identity by means of GetOriginatorProcessId, GetOriginatorProcessName, and GetOriginatorToken.
