Does the offset of write and read operations of file system callback driver are cluster aligned? Our implementation of the file system callback driver must write to physical device. I understand that I have to sector align the buffer if it's smaller than the physical disk cluster size but I'm not sure about the offset provided by the driver? Does it's always aligned with the virtual disk cluster size? So the virtual disk cluster size must be the same as physical disk.

In CBFS offsets and buffer sizes are not aligned to anything, as the application can call Write method for 3 bytes or 33333 bytes and your code will receive the same buffer of the same size that the originator application has passed.
