Hi,

I use CBFS to mount our remote FS to Windows machine.
I have some trouble with AddMountingPoint() on Windows Server 2003.

1. g_CbFs.AddMoutingPoint(mount, CBFS_SYMLINK_NETWORK|CBFS_SYMLINK_NETWORK_ALLOW_MAP_AS_DRIVE, &luid) is failed and returns ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER(0x87). It runs well on Windows XP and Vista.

2. g_CbFs.AddMoutingPoint(mount) is good, but cannot find the mounted drive in explorer.

mount string is

M;10.0.0.101;default

I removed old CBFS and reinstalled new CBFS 3.0(not evaluation).

Please, let me know the solution ASAP.
Thanks in advance

Are you mounting the drive from Windows Service or from UI application?

Hello Sangmin,

1. In the case when the CBFS_SYMLINK_NETWORK_ALLOW_MAP_AS_DRIVE flag is specified the server name must correspond to the machine name. Or just leave it empty - in this case CallbackFS itself set the correct name.
I.e. the following mounting point name should work (don't forget about the colon after the drive name if you want to see the mounting point in Explorer) -
"M:;;share_name"

2. Doesn't the following call work?
g_CbFs.AddMoutingPoint("M:")

I resolved it.

I changed '&luid' to NULL from g_CbFs.AddMoutingPoint(mount, CBFS_SYMLINK_NETWORK|CBFS_SYMLINK_NETWORK_ALLOW_MAP_AS_DRIVE, &luid).
It runs well. ^^;;

Thanks a lot.

note: 'mount' string is "M:;10.0.0.101;default".
