Certain applications on 64-bit machine ( for eg. ms word) show disconnected network drive in "Save As" window. I am using CBFS 3.0

Are you using the latest CBFS 3.0 version? There has been such a problem but it was fixed several months ago. The problem was in the network redirector helper dll. Check on your machine if the file Windows\system32\CbFsNetRdr3.dll has the version 3.0.78.x or more.

Yes. As the changes.txt file says for v.3.0.77 - "Now both 64-bit and 32-bit DLLs are installed and registered on 64-bit systems. This solves several problems such as display of virtual disks in Open dialog of 32-bit applications as disconnected." Also there has been another error associated with it.

I just updated to the specified version. However the issue remains. Just to add - mspaint and notepad do not show disconnected network drive. However msoffice applications, browsers(firefox, chrome, ie) all show disconnected network drive.

This means that the DLL was not updated properly.

First install the latest version of CallbackFS driver and the network redirector helper DLL (during the installation specify the flags CBFS_MODULE_DRIVER and CBFS_MODULE_NET_REDIRECTOR_DLL). Then if necessary reboot the machine. If the problem remains then check the version of CbFsNetRdr3.dll in the Windows\SysWOW64 and Windows\system32 directories and write to us about it.

I could not find "CbFsNetRdr3.dll in the Windows\SysWOW64". In "Windows\system32" the dll is present and shows File Version -
Also during the installation I have the flags added already that you have mentioned.
I think the dll is registered properly since applications like notepad, mspaint shows the mounted drive as expected (i.e. not as disconnected network drive).

Let me know if anything is to be done additionally to have the dlls in Windows\SysWow64 on 64 bit machines.

Here is the problem. For 32-bit applications on a 64-bit Windows machine 32-bit CbFs3NetRdr.dll from the "Windows\SysWOW64" folder is used. For some reason it is absent there.
Please specify what version of Windows and type of development platform (i.e. C++, .NET, or Delphi) are you using?
