Hi we've been using cbfs for a while. Just upgraded from 2.34 to 2.44
After the upgrade DeleteStorage throws an exception with errorCode 21, mhLocal "the device is not ready"

Both unmountMedia and DeleteStorage are called with the force flag.

v_cbfs.DeleteStorage(TRUE); //throws

In order to test this all I do is mount then unmount right after and it still fails.

We're testing this on 32bit Vista.

Any ideas?

Have you rebuilt your application with the cbfs library from the ver. 2.44 build? Also check that the new driver is installed (instead of the older one). If the driver install/unintall function required reboot then reboot the machine.

Upon futher investigation, this only seems like an issue when using the Release driver

We also tested with the Sample mounter application to ensure that it too fails during DeleteStorage when using the release driver.

Thank you. I've found where the problem is and it'll be fixed in the next build.

Hi, could you advice some workaround?
I have this problem in version 32 bit
both release and debug on Windows 2003 and Windows XP.
Thank you.

Please specify what type of CallbackFS API (C++, Delphi, or .NET) are you using?

Unfortunately we can't reproduce the problem. Could you give us a test application (or some code snippet) that contains it? Also check that the CallbackFS library from the build 2.1.44 is really used.
