The only goal of installing SFTP Net Drive is to check if installation works (SFTP Net Drive installs CBFS driver from CAB file).

Thanks for clarification.
This installation is worked. Did not find any error.

I noticed that after execution of Mapper sample example, there is warning from anti virus software.
attaching for your reference.

I want to make sure that the Mapper sample example works for me, before I start integrating your services to my application.

Hmm. What do you expect to get if your antivirus blocks operations? Of course you need to turn it off, this is obvious.

Thanks a lot, I am able to run Mapper sample example now.
I have to uninstall the anti virus.

I created a mount point by clicking mount e.g. C:\temp\cbfsMount and it was success.
Why Unmount is not removing the mountpoint from my drive.

Best

SftpNetDrive was allowed by the antivirus in this case because it was signed by a GlobalSign issued certificate. And I think it should be some way in the antivirus to set for the non-signed CallbackFS samples to trust execution (driver installation).

"Unmount" - in other words it's "removing media from drive". It can fail if the drive is being accessed at the time of unmount. For details see the ForceUnmount parameter in the CallbackFileSystem.UnmountMedia API.
"Mountpoint" - it's something like "C:" (i.e. a drive letter) and it's created/removed by the use of AddMountingPoint/DeleteMountinPoint.

Thanks lot,
Since I want to deal with mountpoints in users home dir.
and with ref to your guide for "Migrating from FUSE to Callback File System"

I am using mapper.cpp as a part of my application.
on entry point my sequence of call would be

SetRegistrationKey()
Install() //< if not installed
CreateStorage() ///<
AddMountingPoint() ///< at this time hardcoded "C:\\users\\name\\mountPointDir\\"

at this point I am getting error "the parameter is incorrect", please advise.

regards

What do you want to achieve by creating the "C:\users\name\mountPointDir" mounting point? Does it mean that you want to "attach" your virtual storage as a reparse point to the folder "C:\users\name\mountPointDir" on a NTFS volume?

When user runs my application on desktop.
My application will create a virtual mount point in his home directory.
e.g. C;\users\username\myAppvirtualDriveName\
once this mount point is created.
The app will pull all the files from remote drive and put them into newly created mountpoint. e.g. C;\users\username\myAppvirtualDriveName\myDoc.doc etc.

Once all these files are available into mountpoint then user can read/write/view them.

When the App exits all the files plus mountpoint will be removed.

This is overall idea of this app
