Hello,

With 'standard' network drives, it is possible to make their content 'available offline' using a command located in explore right-click popup menu.

This seems not to be possible with Cbfs network drive.

I wonder if this fonction might be available using cbfs network drive, and if not why ?

Thanks in advance,

Franck Bonin

Hello,

The CallbackFS network mounting points haven't been made completely yet. We are still working on it.
And perhaps such functionality will appear itself when the network redirector (that is being implemented for supporting CallbackFS network mounting points) is made completely.
But we haven't planned to implement it (i.e. the 'available offline' functionality). Why do you want it?

We know we could develop this feature by ourselves using cbfs.

But if such feature can be offered by Windows system for all kind of network drive (including our), it would be mush better than every thing we could ever develop.

In particular, I think it would be more 'standard' and better understood by end-user, more reliable, more integrated, etc.

Hello

I am trying to implement a Newtwork Mounting point, but see from below that it has yet to be made available.

The feature already exists (see the function AddNetworkMountingPoint) but hasn't been completely implemented yet. This task has high priority in our todo list and we are working on it but due to a lack of time it is doing not so fast as we want.

Vladimir,

Is this feature now fully implemented? I really want to mount my cbfs as a network drive to avoid using drive letters, and also to use the network style of icon.

Hello,

We are working on it and it will be done approximately in a month if something doesn't impede it. I will notify you in this topic about any news.

When this feature is implemented will it allow us to access the CFBS using a UNC path?

Thanks, Ian.

Is there a release date when this feature will be in the product as it is key to the project I'm currently developing?

Is there any documentation on how I would use this functionality?

Thanks, Ian.
