Hello,

In the previous version of callback File System, the OpenFile callback had a parameter "FileAttribute". But in the new version, this information has disappear.

Is there a way the know if the opened file is a File or a Directory ?

Thanks !

This is a mistake (leftover) in documentation. You should check what is created (file or directory) in OnCreateFile event, when the *new* entry is created. In OnOpenFile event this check doesn't have sense -- OnOpenFile is called for the entries which already exist and you can know what is to be opened by using the file/directory name. As the file and directory may not have the same name (i.e. you can't have the file named XXX and the child directory XXX within the same parent directory), you always have at most one entry with provided name and you know what this entry is.

I have removed the text about attributes from description of OnOpenFile.

Sincerely yours
Eugene Mayevski
