Hi,
It looks like there are some inconsistencies between the installer dlls and the CPP apis for installing the driver.

1. The installer dll exports GetDriverVersion which we can use in combination with GetDriverStatus to tell if the new driver needs to be installed or not. The CPP library doesn't have a GetDriverVerion method. Is this going to be fixed?

A related question: Is it expected that we call uninstall of the driver before calling install or is a call to just install sufficient for doing the right thing? i.e check versions, and if the versions don't match then uninstall the older driver and install the new one.

Thanks.

For drivers you should always uninstall the previous version first.
