We are working for an US customer who manages security solutions and implemented BizTalk. The customer is using BC-SFTP adaper 9.0+ version which picks files from UNIX syste,.Recently they have upgraded UNIX systemt to Red hat LINUX system.
The questions we have is

1.) will BC-SFTP adaper 9.0+ version (BizTalk 2006 R2)work with redhat Linux.
2.)We are getting SSH 109 error.what does this mean.
3.)Any documentation connecting to LINUX.
4.)What is the latest version of BC-SFTP adapter and can it be installed on BizTalk 2006 r2

Hi Sunil,

Thank you for contacting us.

In general there is nothing that would prevent BizCrypto SFTP adapter from connecting to a properly configured SSH/SFTP endpoint (be it Unix or any variant of Linux). However, version 9 is fairly outdated, so certain configuration-specific glitches might take place (as both de facto and de jure security practices change rapidly over time).

Error 109 stands for ERROR_SSH_HOST_KEY_NOT_VERIFIABLE error, which is reported if the server key failed to be validated by the adapter. As the system you are connecting to has changed, it's likely that the host key was changed too, and you need to account for that change in the adapter configuration.

On a side note, please attach your or your customer's BizCrypto license ticket to your eldos.com account, to propagate the support level that comes with your license (and get assistance faster).
